This was a truly epic track-day! The heat was brutal, but under the EZ-up, it wasn't all that bad. I finally got the courage to put my knee down. really worked on body position and tried to keep up with as many control riders as I could. All in all, I started saturday in B group clocking around 2:20s on my flat-black, stock, '07 kawi zx-6r, and by the end of sunday I was hitting 2:02 with mess-ups and traffic. I've gotta thank Mike for putting this on, and Jonny Rocket for all the great help. This event was my 2nd/3rd track day(s) and I'm really looking forward to Buttonwillow on July 15th if anybody else is going! Hope to see all you guys soon!

Whoever it was got into a battle with my buddy while he was riding my bike and I have some damn good video of him shutting the door on my poor slow bike. If you're reading this PM me and I'll link you to it.
I am not sure of his name anymore as I am terrible with names, but I do know that I took him around the track for a few sessions. In the begining on Sat he had horrible lines (no offense if you are reading this) but once he was shown some good lines, I followed him around and by the end of the day on Sat he was much more improved than when he started. On Sunday, I followed him for a bit and damn, what an improvement. I couldn't believe how much more smooth and controlled he looked compared to Sat. I have to give kudos to him for such a good improvement.

That be me =P hoping to get some schooling in and more track time. Smooth everything out. I should do pretty good if I get all my lines pretty smooth.

Mayhem and Fzr400....you guys were fun to watch the second day. Both of you improved substantially from day 1 and it showed (as you guys passed me in T2) LOL.

See ya guys next time hopefully. And make sure that ya both are in "B" group cuz thats where ya belong guys. Nice riding.

Haha thanks man, dude that rs250 was sweeeeeet. So cool to see a 2 stroke rollin out there. I would love the chance to ride one of those around the track. Sucks it had problems the second day. T2 was like the only place I could pass people, didnt have enough power down either of the straights, except when I passed mayhem87 in front of the pits w/ only elbow room to spare, haha that was great! Then he did it to me the second day, ass! Haha j/k it was sweet!

Hey this is Len with the Red/Blk GSXR, one of the "Hooligans" from C Group Day 1. I have all the video downloaded from both days, just need to chop it up and shrink it for the net at this point. The battle you had with my buddy on the r6 on day 1 was pretty epic, then he got into a battle with Mayhem and your buddy on the green kawi while on my bike day 2.

To say that you 3 "improved" from day 1 to day 2 would be a complete understatement. I can't believe it was all 3 of your first trackdays. Ya'll are naturals, can't wait to see you guys progress as time goes on. I'll get the video done ASAP, but with the 4th being tomorrow it will probably be a bit. I have like 3 solid hours of track footage to cut and chop down.

It was definitely a great day. I only showed up for sunday, but I'm glad I at least got one day in. I had an overheating problem at the beginning of the day but thanks to a lot of peoples help that got figured out and it was awesome from that point on. It was my first actual day of riding since febuary (other than breaking in a motor at buttonwillow) so it was great to get the cobwebs blown out (or at least some of them! haha)

Good seein' a lot of you, and mike, you put on an awesome show. Cant wait for the next one.

-Paul
