They called me back and confirmed that they will be there, they said they will have most all the Michelin track tires on hand... but I would call them just in case they don't have the tire you exactly are looking for!

Also try a leather shoe shop for stitching your leathers, we have one in our local shopping Mall, they've fixed my leathers, where the stitching was coming undone on my sleeve zipper... they also replaced the Zipper in one of my Sidi boots, they're usually done in a day...

Hope the guy that got star flighted out today wasn't one of our bunch and I hope he's ok. Saw that helo coming in from streets ...

It was a girl. Crashed in T1. No one at the track knew any details. A lot of people packed and left after that.

Other than that incident, I had an absolute blast. Low 1:37, which is a 2 second improvement for me.

Sorry, Jaime, I'm not going to Pahrump. I do like no-session trackdays, but a friend of mine (Igor) is definitely not ready for them. Once he's in the Intermediate group (next year), we can try it.

I'm thinking of 10/6 at Buttonwillow instead. Wish SBW's trackday was on the weekend.

That incident was a single-bike crash...she ran off the exit of T1 and tumbled badly.

The airlift was called for due to the extensive loss of consciousness of the rider as a precautionary measure for a head injury. We're in contact with her husband and she's in stable condition, for which we're thankful.

I was not aware of many people packing up and leaving, since the afternoon sessions still seemed well-attended given the heat, but then again I was occupied with the school riders and didn't see everything of course.
