iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 4 (16) | Thanks for the update, Todd. The trackday was run very well as always. Crashes were dealt with very efficiently. Though (let's be honest) the number of crashes was kinda high for your organization as I keep you to higher standards. I think many people were new to the track. Even fast L2 riders took weird lines through Omega taking 4a too wide and completely missing 4b apex. I kept wondering if I forgot something after a year. Then Jason Curtis drew the right line in the classroom. The fork chatter took away most of my confidence in the afternoon, though I was happy I already did low 1:37. Next time it'd be 1:36 for sure. I'm getting old. Better safe than sorry if the bike feels weird. Crashing in T8 at 135mph is not an option for me. They cleaned it up and put barriers, but it'd take time to forget all recent fatalities in T8 and T9. As for the people leaving, yes, many left in the afternoon. Probably got scared/superstitious or wanted to end the day on a good note. The track is intimidating for newbies, then the sight of the medical chopper landing; not exactly confidence-inspiring... It's not your fault of course, but maybe next time it'd help to identify newbies on literbikes and keep an eye on them. At that track. Just a thought. Sorry, Todd, for not saying good bye. We were in a hurry. It's a little different with spouses and children slow-roasted in the sun. Little did we know about the offroad adventure due to the highway closure. Offroading with a 400lb bike on a moto-tote is sure an experience.Last edited by Bad-mofo : 09-06-2007 at 12:52 AM. |

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 5 (11) | I had lots of fun... Wished you all would have come and grabbed me for some lapping fun! My friend Christine and I were saying that it didn't seam like very many people left right after the air flight accured... it was still early... Alex next time come get me, and make me ride with you... you got to pick up them lap times buddy... you should be running my pace or faster! get that chadder fixed, no complaints, lets ride! I'm riding my bike with stock suspension, TrackXperience novice school, but lots of seat time, and I've got 10 years on you... I'm running laps faster than you...
