Couple things...

1) Has anyone gotten ahold of Gabe from West Coast Performance Tire? I'm curious about pricing and availability of service in the morning. I might get my tires on here before going if there's going to be a long wait.

2) Also, my bike was pushed over last week in an apartment complex

My brake lever was bent but not broken...will it fail tech inspection?

Quiks - I'll bring my OEM lever in case you need to borrow it. I'm using Pazzo's on mine right now.

You should be fine... might wanna try heating it up and bending it back.

Does it still function fine? Can you still reach it without any issue?

Imposter, thanks, that'd be awesome if you could bring it as a backup. I can reach it just fine, but I've heard that some tech guys won't let you run if your lever is bent. Thanks for the help guys

Just realized you're on an 04 RR. My lever is off my 07 RR. Will it work? I'll bring it anyways.

I can usually bend them a little without heat. Hit me up at the track & I'll check it out.

Secret is to bend on concrete or pavement with a plastic or rubber mallet.. do not bend with a box end as you can brake easy... The pavement or concrete do not let it go "too far"

Very cool, thanks for the help guys. I've broken many an aluminum part in my day, I know it can be fidgety. I'll bring it as-is (since it still works fine) and we'll try to bend it back at the track. SBW members are turning out to be some of the most lend-a-hand kind of people I've met
