Mike, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for putting on a great trackday and for allowing me to help you as control rider. It gives me great pleasure to help other riders, as I was helped a few years ago.

I know everyone (except Highside John) had a great time out there.

Awesome trackday.

Everytime I ride that track in that configuration, I enjoy it more and more. And of course the all the good people there make it even better.

Special thanks to the Sherriff's Dept for ponying up all the schwag.

Had a GREAT time, saw a TON of people improving all day long (especially those who's first trackday this was...holy crap it was night and day!)...perfect weather...one of the BEST trackdays I have been too!

Great control riding for you guys! Hope to see you out there again!

oh crap, forgot about you...same turn as well. How'd you fare? John has a fractured pelvis and sprained ankle...but is in good spirits...
your bike looked more um, intact than his...

Yea, I didn't see his bike, but I'm not out of the woods on damage. I came out of things much better than he did, but I'm sore as heck today! Sprained ankle, small bit of rash on my right elbow, and a sore shoulder. The bike went end over end twice, BUT....that wasn't just any ordinary bike. There were oodles of dollars worth of parts...that is causing the repair bill to go astronomical on me. I estimated about $6000 worth of repairs, and I've got two months before the December Cycle World show. The bike was supposed to be in the Metric Revolution display, hence, why I was taking a few new track pics of her.

Winning a free 520 chain helped!!! Thanks Mike!!!!!

I noticed that in the other thread. its a R7 replica...very nice. Yours is the more precious bike and you NEED to repair it. His bike cartwheeled 4 or 5 times. each time one end hit the ground it would explode in plastic parts. Subframe ripped off, forks gone, wheels, etc...bike is gone. Really new too-he only got that gsxr 1k a few months back, 4-6 months maybe (no, he's a very experienced rider, lol). He'll just replace it. You, you have something special.
Heal up...there are many more trackdays before the end of the year...
