Software for keeping track of track/race data

So I'm thinking of developing some software to keep track of everything that I usually write down into a log book.

I just wanted to see what kind of things people would find useful to keep track of. This is just to get the list started:

Date.
Track Info.
- Zip code or GPS coords.
- d/l the weather data from above data.
- d/l track data from a database.
-- length
-- turns.
--- camber
--- radius
Bike Info.
- Tires
-- front or rear
-- mfg
-- model
-- size
-- psi
--- hot
--- cold
- Suspension Settings
-- fork oil
-- preload
-- damping
- Gearing
-- Sprocket Size

OMG. You must be a dedicated Mac user / Microsoft hater if you've never heard of Excel. Unless you're joking of course.

MS Excel is a [tabular] spreadsheet tool. If you just want to keep track of data and perform simple calculations, it'd do.

If you truly need a database to run reports (can't imagine what kind of analytics you'd need), then you can use MS Access.

Both are included in MS Office

I have one I did for school in Access that if anyone wants to develop it further, I can e-mail it to you. I didn't include race setup only because I ran out of time before finals. It works somewhat however, it needed some tweaking to be right.
