Thank you for everything, Mike. I had a blast!

And Diego... thanks again for a great ride. I posted my best lap time of the day chasing you... 2:16:33. Hopefully you didn't misinterpret what I said yesterday about me almost running into you. You didn't do anything wrong. I just wanted to thank you for a great ride.

I came up on Diego following two other bikes. The front bike went into the off-ramp a little hot and locked the rear brake to save going off roading. That allowed Diego and I to pass those two bikes. I chased Diego around for two more laps and just as we came into the off-ramp, he broke sooner and harder than I expected. I locked up the rear while avoiding running into him. No biggie. I'm a real late braker so no fault on Diego. With the pace we were going I just wasn't expecting him to brake when he did.

Good times! Thanks again, Diego. Hopefully we catch a few laps together again next time.

Here's the R6 I was riding. It's my roommates. I wanted to try it out and see if it was the bike I want for racing. I think it is what I want. I felt completely comfortable and confident with this bike, even though it really needs a steering damper... I was getting some nasty little wobbles accelerating down the front straight and the straight just after that, before the esses.

And my buddy's GSXR. He crashed in the C group right before lunch when he got pushed out from his line by another bike. He was fine and aside from a few scratches and broken tail section, the bike was ok. He continued riding the rest of the day.

Big thanks to Mike and the whole crew that made this one happen. I'm really glad I was able to get my crap together and join everyone. I had planned on just doing a couple sessions on my SuperMoto before switching back to the ZX-6rr, but I ended up having so much fun on the motard I didn't switch til the day was almost over. After Matt's little incident I'm thinkin some stickier tires may be in order for the motard though.

I can tell Matt felt bad about crashing your bike. When I pulled up he was sitting there looking at like a kid who just discovered his goldfish doing the backstroke. I told him "Dude it's a dirtbike, just pick it up and keep going!"

BTW: Who has the FTW leathers? Is that Jimmy? Who ever it was, we were having a lot of fun until we had to stop for MATT!!

Mike, thanks a bunch for putting this on! It is by and far the best hosted track day I've been to, so many reasons to list .. I'll get to that a little later, I'm still recovery mode

I meant to stop by the office before I left to thank you personally but in the mix of getting everyone loaded up and then talk of McDonalds on the way home I forgot

Dude, you rock!

Haha, I had an effin blast! For most of the morning sessions I was going around following people to see what I could to do to help, but most people were actually riding really well.

After lunch as I was crusing around in B group and found Sirmilton just flying through the course! I started chasing him and was like "WTF is this guy doing in B group!". When the session was done I went over to talk to him and graduated him into the A group; that's when the fun began Every A session after that we were taking turns following each other and learning from each other's strong points. We had huge smiles on our faces every time we came off the track. Thanks Sirmilton and I'm looking forward to racing with you next year!

Mxracer95, it was fun riding with you too. I never really found a good entry line and reference points for the off-ramp, so my braking was probably pretty inconsistent into there. I was also being cautious because so many people go down in that section. Yeah hopefully next time we will get more laps together.

Mike, thank you so much putting on these awesome trackdays and allowing me to be a control rider. Also a huge thanks for the support and helping me get the word out about Cycle Sector! Thanks everyone else for making this one of the most memorable trackdays I've ever had!

I'm still confused about the lack of braking, cause usually I have to be concious not to give that bike too much. I swear it outstops my 600 by a large margin. It is quite a different riding style though, so I dont blame you for anything. Oh well, **** happens. How's your thumb feelin today?
