Arrow SBW Buttonwillow RECAP!! - Oct. 1, 2007

Instead of adding on to the very long planning threads I thought I would start a post mortem thread.

Well, I want to thank Mike for setting all this up. The rest of the "staff" pretty much shows up, helps set up and then rides. Mike (or mostly Rachael) does ALL of the foot work.

Hey! We were on schedule this time! The more of these we do, the more smooth they are.

We had our share of crashes, but luckily no one was seriously hurt. I think only 2 bikes were seriously damaged. Yes, I was included in this group. Yes Mike already gave me a rash of **** about it. It was nothing a little spray polish and duct tape couldn't take care of. I was back out in the next session.

SBW seriously has the best raffles! I have never been to a trackday were they were handing out tires before! That Fast 50 raffle was insane!

I hope that everyone else had as much fun as I did and that those who rode with me in the C group learned something.

See ya next time! (hopefully that is soon!)

Thanks to Mike again, for the best trackday I have ever participated in. Everyone who came out was friendly, respectful and was there to learn and do better.

Thanks to Diego (Disco) for finding me and helping me to push myself and see where my flaws were. Apart from the offroading in off ramp I managed to keep the bike pretty much under control and pointed into the corners.

I think everyone here agrees SBW Trackdays are something to tell your friend's, and your friend's friend's about.

Great job everyone!!!

My thanks to Mike for putting on a great track day, Disco and the other control riders for working with me on my form. By the end of the day I made a lot of improvement in my riding.... I can't say enough about how great of a day we had.

Fun trackday and thanks to James (I think?) on the 77 SV for working with me thru the morning sessions in C group! I had a lot of fun. Only 2 "OH ****!" moments. Great to meet everyone from the 600rr.net and SBW.com forums too. Below are the only pictures I have. The rest of the time was spent on the track or talking about the track.

Thanks to Sirmilton with the helping hand in loading, unloading of my bike and for sharing the garage! Send me your Paypal bro so I can repay you.

That would be me, Pantablo. No worries on not remembering my name (photo caption) as there were tons of people we both met!

I had a great time.
Mike, you run one heck of a show.
Cant wait till the next one. I'll be giving B-willy raceway a call and letting them know how SBW rocks.

Thanks again for a great trackday.

P.S. So when is the next one???

Thanks Mike for an Awesome day at B-Willow.
This past week end really changed my vision on Track days/
Yes it's not fun loading up the bike and not riding Saturday or Sunday to conserve tires (i only have one bike) . The waiting is all worth it once you get to the track.

I will also be contacting Bwizzy to tell them that SBW rocks
