| Squid | Almost died today So I was riding my bike in the fast lane of the 78 frwy and this lady in a white Toyota switches lanes at the same time as somebody else, she freaks out over corrects, looses control, and nails the black Scion in front of me. The black Scion does a 180 and starts coming head on towards me. I swerve (almost hit the wall) and dodge the Scion by inches, and she then goes head on into the median. I pull over to the side where there were 2 other cars, one flipped over on its roof, and the initial white toyota went up the embankment. The guy in the truck behind me pulls over and runs up to me and gives me a hug. He said I thought you were dead I don't know how you got out of that one. Later on talking to the cop he told me to get a lottery ticket and that I was a very lucky man to be here. I'm still shaking!! |

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 8 (56) | :yikes That was definitely a scary story and you should definitely buy a Lotto ticket. I have to ride on the 78 to work from the 5 to College, and personally I think that highway has more than its share of idiots. Glad to hear you made it out alive and in one piece. Good job! :clapping |

| Squid | It definetly shook me up pretty good. Its weird hearing somebody say I thought you were dead! It happened on the 78 west in between College and El Camino Real. That 78 has more accidents. I'm telling you people just can't drive on that freeway. |

I used to work right off Emerald at the Coldwell Banker that was there (we moved our office and are now off Vista Village).... Did you hear about that really bad accident on the 78 about a week ago that involved a bus?? It was pretty bad, and I guess they had to shut down part of the highway.
