You ride for you and pay no attention to those wanna be's behind the curtain. Keep on keeping on....Brudah :thumbup

| Newbie | Sean, I'll ride with you any day. Your pace is just fine for me and if I feel the need to turn it up a notch, I'll do it at the track. I don't have the experience to push it on ACH or Palomar, so f-em, I ride at my pace. I'll be happy to let a faster rider pass me and pick up the popo... I've got nada to prove to anyone except myself. At least I know what to expect if you are in front of/behind me. Ride safe bro' G. |

| Squid | I know where you're coming from...group rides bring out the insecurities in everyone. Everyone sees how fast everyone else is and wants to keep up. I've been guilty of it before, and I like to think I'm pretty level headed. It can be dangerous. One of the points of a group ride is to have someone at the back that is riding way BELOW their ability, watching out for those who are slower than the faster ones. I've been on group rides where I've hung to the back because noone else was, and guess what? I was inevitably picking someone up off the pavement. Quote:
