Holden HSV Maloo R8: the ultimate trackday transportation

It's a 412hp Australian-market "ute". We're getting a watered down version of the boring sedan based on the same platform and to be called Pontiac G8 here. In ten years or so (when the car is already discontinued in Australia) we'd probably get the ute as well.

Sorry for OT. Australia is definitely in my travel plans. Of course it'd be your tourist's opinion, but how it compares to SoCal? Not weather-like, but people, culture, infrastructure, etc.
