2005 Suzuki GSXR 1000 Frame Alert!

* Note: This bike was crashed and hit a wall acording to sources, so it's not known if the weld broke apart before or after the crash. Some believe it's most likely that the crash was due to rider error, and that the weld broke upon impact with the wall.

I was actually reading this thread on the R1 forum from the "other board" is where I got the link. What is wierd is the frame broke exactly on the weld, its rumored the bike front ended a wall prior to this frame/weld break. Here's some pics. Certainly is scarey. oh well can't get the honda now ;) There are some more pictures out there there is no front end on the bike and the front wheel is toast.

Thats pretty crazy I mean you have to do some serious damage to get a frame to straight break like that on the WELD, insane. Ray don't worry you got the right bike go Suzuki! If it were really a problem I think suzuki would know by now and would have had some sorta recall...well one should hope ya know?

Jay sounds like a professional crasher. How many crashes has the bike had prior? Hitting the wall @ "triple digit speeds"... Suzuki doesn't have a problem here (except for some idiot racing their bikes.) "Cruising into 3rd place. RIIIIIIIIGHT! :asshat
