Default Michelin Pilot Power 2ct Tire Pressure?

I just got new Michelin Pilot Power 2ct's and I am currently running 36 psi for both the front and rear. My question is, is should I run lower pressures for both the front and rear when canyon riding?

I've heard many different opinions and even was shown this (don't know if it applies to the PP2ct's):

Leave them at 35-36 psi for the canyons and bump them up for commuting.

How high do you think for commuting?

For me this is a 120/190 PP 2CT on a fairly heavy bike (TLR) with a 190lb rider.

like 40psi front and rear? ??

I say drop them to 31/32 for canyon runs.

If you run them at 35-36 and the normal increase in temp is 3-4 psi of air when they are warmed up that would put them at 38-40 psi and getting a little stiff for carving.

I confirmed an experienced Michelin dealer just today and he said f31-32 R32-33 cold temp for canyons.

Just my .02 anyway.

Definetly bump them up for commuting.

I have a set of 2ct's and I'm running them at 31-30 cold on a GSXR 750. They're working great on the tight side of Pally.

For commuting I would drop them to 36f 36r if you ride anything more than 15 miles or so they will be up to temp by then.

If you commute less than 15 miles I would keep them at 40 because you most likely wont be up to temp in less than that.
