Default lowering a 2007 SV650

I have a friend that need the 2007 SV 650 lowered. What are some of the tricks to getting that bike lower?

I have to cut the kickstand and weld on a new piece

I think she needs it lowered 3 to 4 inches.

That's pretty low. I believe you will have to adjust the fork height as well.

That's super low. How tall is she that she requires the bike lowered 3-4 inches? Perhaps you should take it in and have a professional do this, since it's such a dramatic change?

Well a 2in drop was plenty for her. Now I have to cut the kickstand
