iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 0 (10) | Anyone out there know a good leather shop or someone that can modify my leathers. I need the left leg shortened, modified, and the Velcro sewn back on for my puck. Duct tape is just way too tacky....I have enough of it on my pipe...I'm in the Victorville area but Riverside/Ontario isn't that far. |

I was like you and didn't even think about it, until I had a one of the sleeve zippers starting to come unstitched on my Leathers, I took it over there and they fixed it no problem, I ask them if they would put patches on my leathers even on the sleeves (where Z custom leather told me they wouldn't, when I had my name put on my leathers) the little shoe repair shop said yes they would, that they do it all the time! I've also had taken one of my Sidi boots to them to replace the Zipper... they're a small place but they do very good work! Nice to meet another Victor Valley sportbike rider! Jay

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 0 (10) | Thanks Jay I know exactly the shop you mentioned. Your right, they do good work. I just didn't think that they could do the tailor work that I need done. But now that you mention it, I think that I'll at least stop by and talk to them about it before I go out-a town to get it done. Thanks for the reminder and a thumbs up for the high desert. Maybe we could hook up for a ride sometime. jimi |
