It's been suggested that you use the cobalt bits and a drill press for the easiest route.

I've put the race thing on hold after creating a budget, to much money, I mean, wayyy to much money. The $300 transponder for WSCM was a big turn off for me - $300 are two track days, would rather spend the money there.

The extent of my safety wire includes brake calipers bolts, exhaust bracket and oil cap at this point. I may add more throught the week but that's a mabye.

As long as my bike is nice and clean for this weekend is really all I care about. :biglaugh

Yeah, that transponder price is a bit hard to swallow, but I guess if it helps with scoring, and times, it'll be worth it in the end. Too bad the rental rate isn't lower for people that just want to get their feet wet to see if racing is actually for them or not, or for the ocational racer.

The transponder is spendy, but as long as you didn't fug it up too badly, you should be able to get most of your money back out when you are done... The used market will always be strong because of the brand new prices! I bit the bullet and bought one. It will be cool to have 'official' times up on a web site after the conclusion of the race weekend!

Just put it on a credit card and pay it off sloooooooooooooowly...
